Managing Blessings

"The rhythm of motherhood will always be set to a slightly chaotic beat. I can be rattled to the core by the unpredictability of it all. Or I can choose to laugh, dance, and remember I'm managing blessings."

After reading that this week, i decided to take a new outlook on my role as a mom. I was feeling a little encouraged and excited and then, a really horrible morning...one where I felt like I certainly did not measure up and was very discouraged.  Although the defeating thoughts continue to pop-up, I am forging ahead with my new outlook.  I refuse to submit to the labels given to me by myself (mostly) and others! I am choosing to make IMPERFECT PROGRESS in my life, knowing that there will be hurdles and set-backs, but they WILL NOT determine my course. On that note, I am choosing to think back of some good things that happened in my week!

Some playdates & lunch with friends
 Lost about a pound...of hair!
Saw a moose while driving to work
Spent some time at the pool
A new attempt at motivating my children to have happy hearts, be kind and obey!
So minus the horrible morning, it was a GREAT week! I made some imperfect progress! Yippee!
