PIE for Breakfast that is! Say what? Yes! Its our 11th Annual Thanksgiving Day Pie Breakfast! Whew, that’s a mouthful…and that’s exactly what you get at pie breakfast—a mouthful of delicious pies. This years list includes:
- Blackberry crumb pie
- Bittersweet chocolate pecan
- Mexican chocolate
- Upside down apple tart
- Buttermilk lemon chess
- Key Lime
- Chocolate ganache with raspberries
- Buttermilk raspberry
- Grasshopper
- Peach
The tradition started 11 years ago by three good looking guys (all bachelors at the time), read the details here. And has now morphed into several families gathering on Thanksgiving Eve and drinking lots of wine making over 40 yummy pies! We take turns on hosting (which I have creatively gotten out of since 2004!) and this year, The Sweeney's are being invaded hosting this year and EVERYONE is invited! A few pics to entice you…

I wish I was in town for this! I think I would mosty enjoy the Thanksgiving Eve part. I remember when it all started! Sounds like so much fun. Hmmmmm would you be offended if I steal this idea?
