Once upon a time, there was a pregnant woman who was about 6 days past her due date. She was weary of people commenting that she was still pregnant pregnancy and hoping that her new little guy would arrive sooner rather than later. After a leisurely breakfast with a friend, where she was showing NO signs of labor, this pregnant woman decided to try some “labor-inducing” tea…which she was casually sipping when her friend left her house at noon. About 2pm, her friend checked in to see if there was any progress and nothing was happening yet.
At 3:30pm (on the same day), her friend received a slightly frantic exciting call from the pregnant friend’s husband to see if she could come watch the other kids. The pregnant friend was already at the hospital, and things were moving at lightning speed quickly. After a quick trip over to watch the other children, news came quickly…at 4:03pm (yes, about 1.5 hours of labor) the baby was here!
My dear friends, Rob and Christa Anderson, welcomed Robert “Weller” Anderson into their family on June 3, 2011 at a healthy 8”6. All the family is doing well and my AMAZING pregnant friend is settling into her life as an AMAZING mom of three! Christa, you truly are a special mom and friend. I am so thankful that God intertwined our lives here in Park City. Congratulations on your beautiful new little guy!
