In honor of Cinco de Mayo, I decided to post some of our Mexico adventures. We went to the swine flu land Excellence Resort in Playa Mujeres to celebrate 5 years of marriage. Our actual anniversary is not until May 15th (so we haven't officially made it yet) but free babysitting was available my in-laws offered to take Parker from Chicago back home with them to Lubbock, so we booked the trip!
So what does a couple do for six nights and almost 7 days without our little guy? I'll give you one guess: SLEEP! =) We managed to eat a few meals and read a few books while we were there but most of our time was spent relaxing on the beach, by the pool, on our deck, etc.

We had many nice meals and some great views while dining:
Although we missed our little guy, it was a great getaway and we plan on doing it again someday (if the free babysitting is still available)!
