As I type that title, I am amazed that its actually been 5 whole years. Sometimes it seems like just the other day and other times, it seems like we have been married forever a lot longer. Just a recap of our story, we were college neighbors but I was SO not interested in a college boy that played nintendo, drank beer and would skateboard to show off. After college, we both went our separate ways, and then reconnected later while I was in Boston. It started off as just grabbing dinner with a friend and several months later, mysterious flowers (which he still won't confess to sending) after I ran a half marathon and then my first trip to Park City in April of 2002.
After 2 years of lots of airfare costs long distance dating, we were married on the beaches of Turks and Caicos surrounded by many of our friends and family members. Since that time, we have had our knock down drag out ups and downs, but with a LOT of support and prayers (and some counseling), we have made through 5 years!
I am just starting to admit see what a perfect fit my husband is for me. He is funny, outgoing, generous, messy not concerned with appearances, smart, loves adventure, willing to take risks, and really desires to lead our family. Although many of his strengths drive me crazy at times, I love him and cannot imagine life without him. Happy Anniversary, Pete. I love you!

Congratulations Jenny on 5 years!! We just had our 5-year in January/ It is amazing how quickly/slowly it can go by! Cheers to many more happy years with your perfect match!
Congratulations to 5 years and many many many more years to come.
I am sooooo glad Pete married YOU. And I'm soooo glad you married him. I believe every really good marriage requires lots of hard work, and you have a really good marriage! And the work never lets up, but the benefits are most rewarding year after year. Believe me, I know because we're still working at our marriage after 40 years. It's worth it. Mama Doug
