Okay, so I know Pete will think I am being silly for posting about this, but I am proud. My husband works very hard to run a small business and it brings MANY stresses and challenges. We often hear people say, "It would be so nice to own your own business..," and we laugh to ourselves. Although is does have its perks, it often time leaves Pete with little appreciation and much stress!
Anyway, back to my original intent, Pete was honored at the Intermountain Electrical Association last Friday night with the Greatest Contribution Through Service Award.
I knew he was on the committee, but I had no idea all of the work he had done for the association. This is a peer-elected (yet volunteer) position and the chairperson could not say enough nice things about my wonderful husband. Just wanted to recognize him and let him know how much I appreciate all he does for our family. (PS: Isn't this a cute pic of him?)

Wow, that's a well deserved honor, and thanks for letting us know. I'd never learn about it from your husband. I'm sure you share in his hard work and hours spent doing his job. Pete gets my kudos for all his award, and YOU get my vote for best wife, mother, N.P., friend, daughter-in-law, singer, interior decorator, domestic engineer and more. Mama Doug
