It's a bird, it's a plane...

And this morning...Deb was Superwoman!

We met Doug and Deb in the summer of 2005 and since then have shared many experiences and good times. I must say, Doug and Deb are probably the most athletic couple I have ever known, but let me add they are also one of the most generous couples I have ever known. They would give their right arm (and would still beat me at any sport with only one arm!) to help a friend; when they give, you never feel like it was hard for them to do it. Its refreshing, THEY are refreshing.

Anyway, back to Superwoman. Deb's water broke around midnight and they casually dropped off her two year old at our house at 2AM. She looked radiant in the middle of the night, getting ready to face one of the hardest things I have ever done...natural childbirth. I received a text at 6:30AM that there was not much progress and then a few minutes later, I find out she is pushing. At 8:41AM, she birthed a darling dark haired little guy named Rhys ("Reese") weighing in at 6"13 and 19 inches long.

I must admit I was a tiny bit jealous (seeing that I labored hard for about 3 hours and pushed for 2), but also amazed at my friend, Deb. She truly is a Superwoman! Congratulations Doug & Deb. You did it and just as I expected, you made it look easy!

Another boy?!? Miss Baby Anderson is going to have sooooo many great boyfriends to choose from. We have been away for too long. Didn't even know Deb was pregnant. She looks wonderful after childbirth.

Yep, another boy! I agree, does not even look like she had a baby a few hours ago, does she?
