We did it! I say " we" because I feel like its a celebration for us both. We made it through the first year of Parker's life. There were times I wasn't sure I could do it anymore, but most of the time I could not imagine our lives without him. Pete and I both have many confessions as first-time parents...we regularly often go into his room at night and watch him sleep, Pete requests at least one emailed picture a day (which I don't always get around to), I act sillier than I'd like to admit just to see him smile, I usually eat whatever is left in his bowl for my meal, Pete asked me last night if I honestly thought there was a cuter baby? Okay, so we are crazy about our little guy and feel so blessed to have him. We hope for MANY more birthday celebrations with Parker (and his Mammy and Grandpa from Lubbock!).

Happy Birthday Parker!! Glad Doug and Gordon were there! We are going to see them Feb 14th, its always a treat! Katy and Brady love Aunt Doug-a-las!
