Are Uinta Camping?

Well, I was not so sure I was into camping until after our first overnight camping experience with Parker on Friday night.  Pete and I had made a list of all the things necessary for a camping trip (since I was completely clueless) which included the tent, bonnie-n-clyde sleeping bag, s'mores ingredients, toilet paper (which i forgot), warm clothes, hot chocolate and of course, the all important, honey buns, which Pete heated on the grill for breakfast! =)  We packed up our bags and headed out of town on Friday afternoon. It wasn't long before my fears became reality as we learned that every campsite was full. Pete simply says, "Trust Me, I will find us the perfect place!"  I felt absolutely no confidence in this statement and began biting my nails as we took the winding roads through the Uinta Mountains.  After traversing several miles of treacherous 4-wheel only roads and crossing a not-so-shallow river, we found the perfect camping spot on a small little fishing lake. Okay, so Pete was right, he found the perfect spot, but I am now in desperate need of a manicure!

I bet there's many more camping trips to come. Mike just said last night that we have to get Ryder outdoors more or he's going to become a Sissy City Boy! (this was all being said as Ryder was shivering, complaining that he was cold-it was 65 degrees)

Girl, come camping with us. I camp at places that have toilets. =) Glad that you had fun. I was worried about you! I was praying that Pete would take you somewhere nice--didn't want you to be scared off from camping completely!
