Parker turned 5 years old yesterday and I still cannot believe it. I know every mom says these things but they are so true, in the blink of an eye, your babies become big boys! Although Parker and I have had our frustrating-four-moments, he is starting to make some very mature decisions in relating to others, especially his little bro. I also love his desire to learn---everything from school to super heroes to bible stories, he is eager to learn and experience things. Determined is the only word that I would say sums up his sporting abilities! He isn't any olympic athlete, but his efforts make us proud. Parker is a likable guy with lots of friends, he adores most of them and struggles with who to invite over for a playdate--he wants everyone to come! I love that he loves people and that most like him. We think he is a bright, tender-hearted, out-going guy who needs a little encouragement to be the leader (as opposed to joining in on some not-so-great plans!). We know that God has great plans for our big guy and its fun to see him become who he is! Parker, we love you and pray that in this next year, your love for your family, your friends and God will continue to flourish. Happy 5th Birthday!!
