Who knew that a busted lip might turn into a really GOOD thing (fingers crossed)? Last Sunday while we were out celebrating a friends birthday on a BEAUTIFUL day in Park City, oh wait, they are ALL beautiful here, and i digress--Eastie had a head-on scooter collision with another little guy and blood started flowing.  Along with the bloody mouth came many tears and a decision to head down to Primary Children's Hospital ER for a stitches check. After a quick assessment by a nurse, doctor and special-stitch NP, the decision was made that only soft foods and popsicles were needed for this little guy! He was thrilled to have several days of yogurt sticks and popsicles per doctors orders. The only "problem" was that my little guy couldn't suck his thumb (a favorite hobby of his). We have gone 12 days with no thumb sucking...hmm...will it last?  Only time will tell, but this busted lip might save us thousands in orthodontics!  Here is he is below, happy as a lizard, i mean lark!
