Easton James Jones arrived just in time to celebrate Grana's birthday on Wednesday, October 14th at 8:45AM. After a few days of an anxious mom who was REALLY ready to not be pregnant, he started the show about 8pm on Tuesday night (during the Biggest Loser). Contractions were consistent but not too intense until about 2AM. Although I was certain I was not "in labor" yet, I woke up Pete and we called our midwife. She thought we should head on down to the hospital.
We arrived at the hospital around 4AM and were informed that I would be having a baby that day! YEA!! My midwife and sister-in-law got there soon after we checked in and after a few hours of labor and pushing...another BOY was welcomed into our family.
We are doing quite well. Parker is trying to adjust with help from the extra attention from the grandparents. He likes "Baby Easton," but I know it will be a time of transition for us all. Easton seems to be a pretty easy going baby thus far. We are SO blessed and thankful for a wonderful delivery experience of a healthy baby!
