After my attempt at a thoughtful father's day gift...
I am considering a new camera (so I can take my own father's day pictures). It seems that most are happy with the Canon Rebel xTi but I am curious about the other brands (Nikon).
Give me your thoughts!

I have a blog friend that takes AMAZING pics so I asked her what she uses. She loves and highly recommends the Nikon D40. I have it on my wish list. She also gave me a website that has it for the cheapest price.
We have the Nikon D80 and it takes great pictures and it's pretty easy to use. We love it.
I've also heard that the Nikon D40 is awesome.
We have a Canon EOS 40D and we love it so far.
