We just returned from a week in Canmore, AB with the entire Jones family. It was our first time together since our wedding in 2004. We have decided that maybe a long weekend will suffice for future family get together's, even though our week away was quite enjoyable.
I must say that the Jones family has given me new insight on how to relate to each other as family members. I am amazed at their candid relationships with each other and I am starting to feel more comfortable sharing my own feelings. Okay, so they do have the advantage of Gordon (who has his PhD in counseling) to spur on good conversations, but they are still VERY unique in how they relate to one another.
On another note, I HIGHLY recommend a trip to the Banff area. It was beautiful scenery and the weather was quite nice. We covered the gamut of activities including golfing, hiking, hot-tubing, eating, drinking, shopping, river-rafting, analyzing, Parker-adoring, knitting, reading, and even did some relaxing!
Thank you Jones Family for loving on Parker so much! He is still talking about how much he enjoyed the trip. =) I love you all.

Parker is quite the traveler. Lots of miles on that boy in his first year of life.
