Well, life is pretty good for Parker Jones these days. He is constantly being adored and doted over by friends, Mammy, Grandpa, family and his biggest fan, his Dad. He was up to 8 pounds at is 2 week visit and got an almost clean bill of health from his pediatrician. We are going to get an ultrasound of his hip next week to make sure its okay and we will keep you posted on that. Parker does not seem to be affected by much. He usually voices his opinion when he is hungry, wet, tummy hurts or maybe even over-tired, but for the most part, he is a what my in-laws call the "dream baby!"
I am doing pretty well and have been able to get out and about several times including lunch with friends and some professional pics of our little guy! Pete seems to be coping well on little sleep too. He is a great dad and helps me a ton! We have been overwhelmed with the generosity and kindness of our friends and family in sending gifts, emails, cards, bringing meals and just calling to check on us. Having this new little life in our hands is a bit overwhelming at times but by far much more than we ever expected! We are in love with Parker!

RYDER HAD THE SAME PACIFIER AND HE HAD THE NEWBORN PACIFIER UNTIL HE WAS 2. WE TRIED ALL THE BRANDS AND HE ONLY LIKED THE HOSPITAL KIND. WE FINALLY FOUND THAT WAL-MART CARRIES THE SOOTHIES. WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT WEEK PARKER.
