Well, today was a special day in the life of the Joneses. Jenny's water broke yesterday morning and she relaxed at home for most of the day with some regular contractions. We then headed to the hospital around 4:00pm where we labored for about 7 hours (last 4 were the hardest) followed by 2 hours of pushing, after which we got to meet our little boy! He arrived this morning, January 23rd, at 1:41 am weighing in at 7"3 and 21 inches long. We think he is quite amazing and included a few pictures below. We are all doing great and will probably head home tomorrow. Hopefully this blogspot will keep our friends and family updated on the life of Joneses as we journey through the adventures of parenthood!

Oh He's Precious! I asked Ryder if he could say Parker and he said, isn't that where we go skiing? Close Ryder but not quite. :) Can't wait to hold him in a few weeks. Congratulations
We are so happy for you! Parker is certainly a handsome little guy. Spring and summer will be so much fun with a little one. He will be ready to have outings and enjoy the warmth of the sun.
